How deep are the dive sites?

How deep are the dive sites?

They range from 12m to 30m.

How many dive sites are there at the Daymaniyat Islands?

There are 29 recognised dive sites.

What is the water temperature?

It very much depends on the time of year. From January – April the water is around 23 degrees. From May to October the temperature warms up to approximately 29 degrees.

Do I bring my own diving equipment or can I hire equipment?

You can bring your own diving equipment or alternatively we have full equipment hire available at each of our dive centres.

Do you provide refreshments?

We provide drinking water stations (for which you will need to bring your own refillable bottle) and a light snack. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

What do I need to bring?

You should bring a towel, hat, suncream and swimwear.

How long does it take to get to the islands by boat?

Typically it takes around 45 minutes to travel to the Daymaniyat Islands by powerboat.

What time do we meet, leave and return?

We meet at 8am for a 8:30am departure, returning around 2pm.

Do I need to know how to sail?

No experience is necessary.

Do we need a skipper?

If you don’t possess the correct qualifications then you will need a skipper.
