Arrive at Al Mouj marina at 9am, where you will be met by one of our team for a short introduction and safety briefing. You will leave the marina at 9.30am, and begin a leisurely 3-hour sail to the Daymaniyat Islands nature reserve. Arriving at around midday you will have plenty of time to swim, snorkel and explore the stunning set of islands and its abundance of marine life. In the evening you will anchor for the night in one of the many secluded bays and relax underneath the clear night sky, before enjoying a delicious 3-course meal onboard or a BBQ dinner on the beach.
Bar Al Jissah
Departing the Daymaniyat islands after breakfast, you will sail further along the coastline towards the capital, Muscat, with a short break for lunch at Al Fahal Island along the way. This fossil limestone formation is a great place to anchor and snorkel. The afternoon will feature a sail past the Corniche at Muttrah, the Royal Palace and Cemetery Bay. Situated just along the coast from Port Sultan Qaboos, Bandar Jissah bay is wonderfully secluded and features rocks at the foot of the cliffs that are great for exploring when the tide is out. We will berth here overnight and enjoy a buffet dinner at the world famous Shangri La resort.
Daymaniyat Islands
Wake up to be greeted by a beautiful sunrise and indulge in a swim before enjoying breakfast on board. We’ll then head north along the set of nine Daymaniyat islands to spend the day in Police Bay and the aquarium. This area is famous for turtle watching and nesting during the summer season and offers some of the best snorkeling and diving opportunities in Oman. On land, you can explore the island’s rocky terrain, or choose to relax on the white sandy beaches and immerse yourself in crystal clear waters. The evening is spent onboard the yacht, where you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared meal amidst the peaceful ambience of the islands.
Leave your anchorage just after breakfast, relax and enjoy the open waters, whilst making your way back to Al Mouj Marina. If you are lucky you may be able to spot dolphins as you cruise. The yacht will arrive back at the marina around 12 noon for you to disembark at your leisure.
